Vernissage in Montebello

Come out to meet the artists at the vernissage on May 6th from 5 to 7 PM in Montebello! ! I (Tina Petrovicz) Valerie Bridgeman, Susan Cartwright, Rob Hinchley, Laurence Finet, Louise Guay, Dale Shutt along with Glen Hartle are part of this touring exhibition of large woodcut prints created using a steamroller along with a great video that artfully documented the InterconneXion creative process!  It will run May 7 to July 3 at the Centre d’action culturelle de la MCR de Papineau 548 Rue Notre Dame, Montebello. The hours of operation are Wednesday thru Friday 10AM to 4:30 PM, Saturday 10AM to 5 PM and Sunday 1PM to 5PM. InterconneXion is now in Deep River

In 2020 as one of seven Outaouais printmakers who carved 14 large woodblocks and printed them using a steam roller on Main Street in Shawville. I am please to announce the third installment of this touring exhibit in the Deep River. The theme uniting the project is interconnection. The prints highlight the artists’ connection with community, history, nature and the environment. The theme also allowed the artists to explore the interconnection between artist and viewer, and the special connection among printmakers, a medium where collaboration has been common for centuries.
