Have a first aid kit when you go out. Why? Recently I went on a trip to Saskatchewan, nothing foreign or exotic. Partly the trip was to visit family and partly to take my own photo references for a project that I am developing. Well Saskatchewan has a tick problem. I thought ticks like dense stands of bush, nooo they like grass, too. I had 5 ticks in less than a week. Why do I think this is an artist tip? Well we tend to think more about having all of our equipment when we go work outside. Do I have my lens wipes and my lens hood packed? But not having a first aid kit meant I was thinking about ticks and not focusing on my work.
